  Mr. Studholme, Mr. Watson, Councillor D.Fairbairn & Police Liasion Officer Lindsey Tuck.

The chairman introduced PC Lindsey Tuck who gave a short talk about the crime figures in Westward & Rosley, also the Smartwater scheme the police are running for farmers, smallholders or anyone with a small business. The Police have raised concerns about the New Tesco store in Wigton which they feel will encourage anti social behaviour. The chairman thanked PC Tuck.

  2.1 The Parish Council minutes from the 12th May 2009 were agreed and signed.      
  2.2 SIDS – The chairman spoke about receiving the SIDs from Allhallows and placed at Rosley School and Westward. encouraging reports from the public. Chairman thanked everyone who helped with the scheme.
        Permenant SIDs Red Dial, awaiting reply from Highways.
  2.3 New Tesco Store, Wigton A report was given by I.W.
  2.4 Highway Steward Report given by Chairman.
  2.5 Update road leading to Reathwaite
  2.6 Update Signs Post Progress – FS said he hoped they would start again    next month.
  2.7 Salt Bins- ltr read out from S.Charters requesting a salt bin be sited at    agreed to put on hold price increasement.
