NORTHERN FELLS GROUP

The Northern Fells Group is a community charity working for the benefit and welfare of the inhabitants of the parishes of Boltons, Caldbeck, Castle Sowerby, Ireby & Uldale, Mungrisdale, Sebergham & Welton and Westward & Rosley.

We have two part-time vacancies:-

Group Co-ordinator

As a result of Sue Clarke, the current Group Co-ordinator, reducing her hours and becoming the Fundraising Co-ordinator, the Trustees wish to appoint a new Group Coordinator to be responsible for overall administration and management of all the Group’s activities.  The post is for 12.5 hours per week £6,110 per annum based at Millhouse Village Hall, starting as soon as is feasible.  Flexible working arrangements are possible.

Lend-a-Hand Service Co-ordinator

Doreen Gleed is retiring from the post of Lend-a-Hand Service Co-ordinator at the end of this year.  The role includes recruiting and supporting volunteers, taking referrals and arranging for volunteers to provide assistance.  The post is for 10 hours per week £4,888 per annum.  Flexible working arrangements are essential.

Closing date for both the above vacancies is Monday 17^th October and interviews will be held on Monday 24^th October 2011.
